Profile - Miscellaneous Charge Category Screen

Use this screen to create, change, delete, and apply tax to miscellaneous charge categories. This section lists codes and descriptions for predefined and user-defined miscellaneous charge categories. You can change descriptions for categories that you defined.

Description of fields on the screen

Field Label	Description
Add Table	Select this option to create a new Vehicle Rate Table. This option is available in all of the Rate screens excluding the Paintless Dent Repair screen.
Delete Table	Select the rate table from the Rate Table droplist, and then select this option to delete the rate table you are viewing. This option is available in all of the Rate screens excluding the Paintless Dent Repair screen.
Table Type	When enabled, select the table type from the droplist. This option is available in all of the Rate screens excluding the Paintless Dent Repair screen.
Rate Table	Use this option to select a rate table from the list. This option is available in all of the Rate screens excluding the Paintless Dent Repair screen.
Default	This option allows you to set the rate table you are viewing as the default rate table. This option is available in all of the Rate screens excluding the Paintless Dent Repair screen.
Miscellaneous Charge Category	This is the label name of the pane for charge categories.
Add Charge Category	Select this option to create a new charge category. If you want to create more than four miscellaneous charge categories of your own, you must create a new rate table.
Delete Charge Category	Select this option to delete a user defined Charge Category. You cannot delete E.P.C., Storage, Total Loss, or Towing Charge categories.
Code	This is a unique code that is associated with each charge category.
Category	This is the description of the charge category.
(tax type checkbox)	Each tax type that has been set up in the Taxes option appear for each charge category in their respective columns. When marked, the tax is applied to the selected charge category.
